Westminster Abbey is the resting place to many of the British Monarchs including the tombs of Elizabeth1 and Mary Queen of Scots, there are also memorials to the famous such as Winston Churchill, one of the most poignant parts of the Abbey is the tomb of the unknown warrior, a body of a solider with no name rank or number who died in France the First World War.

The abbey is also the setting for coronations of Kings and Queens past and present. The abbey is always very busy which does take away a little of it's magic, but is a must see for any visitor to London. Make sure you see West End Front Towers, Flying Buttresses , The Lady Chapel and Chapter House.
